Faith, Hope and Love Community Outreach Center was established in February 2012 as a youth organization dedicated to empowering and developing the next generation through education, mentorship, leadership, and community outreach. Founded with a vision to uplift underserved youth and families within the Ward 8 community of Washington, D.C., FHL was created to provide students with the support, guidance, and resources needed to succeed academically, socially, and personally. Built upon the biblical principles found in 1 Corinthians 13:13 — “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” — the organization was founded on the belief that every child deserves opportunity, encouragement, and access to resources that inspire growth and success. Since its founding, Faith, Hope and Love Community Outreach Center has remained committed to strengthening communities through:

 

• Academic tutoring and educational support

• Youth mentorship and leadership development

• College and workforce readiness initiatives

• Financial literacy and life skills education

• Community outreach and family support services

• School supply and resource assistance programs

 

Through compassion, service, and advocacy, FHL continues to impact the lives of youth and families by creating pathways toward confidence, purpose, and long-term success.
